Homicide Response Program

The Homicide Response Program works in partnership with the St. Louis County Police Department-Homicide Unit.  This partnership began in 2022 to service family and friends affected by homicide.  Through the partnership, a violent crimes advocate employed by the Crime Victim Center, connects with those who have lost someone to homicide.

The Victim Advocate is available for support, information, resources, and guidance throughout the investigation. Please reach out to your advocate if you need support or assistance.

  • Missouri Crime Victim Compensation Application Assistance

  • Emotional Support

  • Communication with the police department throughout the investigation

  • Referrals to community resources

  • Referrals to Crime Victim Center Counseling

  • Crisis intervention

  • Safety planning
